I just had to send you an email to let you know that my Siberian cat, Irina, LOVES her Cat Climber.  I bought it from a store supporting Cincinnati's no-kill cat shelter.

Irina loves to sleep in the covered top perch, with her tail dangling down into the area below.  She sits in the mesh area and watch all the comings and goings of her people in the hall where the Climber hangs.  She also uses it as her favorite scratching post!

I purchased your Pet Stroller and received it on Oct. 5th.  I put it together the next day and was amazed and how well made it was!  I was delighted!  I allowed the kitties to come and go in the stroller for the following week.  This past Saturday we took a walk in our new Stroller!  I was stopped by five to seven groups of people who wanted to know what the stroller was, look at my cats and give them the Midnight Pass website!  I don't know who enjoyed the walk more the cats or me!

I love the pet cruiser car seat and my puppy seems to like it too.  We have used it several times now and he loves checking out the cars and scenery and then either takes a nap or plays with his toys....I think it's going to be especially useful when we travel a distance by car because it will also become his travel crate for hotel rooms. It fits nicely in the front seat of my truck (with the air bag turned off, of course), but I plan to try it out in the back seat also. It gives him plenty of room to stretch out, and he can see me easily, but he's confined in a safe seat. It still gives us the feeling that he's actually a passenger going along with me instead of freight (in a hard crate, he couldn't see me, nor I him).  With the top open, it is easy to get him in and out, which was a main goal. I take him around to different places and it was really difficult to get him in and out of the hard crate for frequent stops.  He is too little to be restrained with a seatbelt attached to a harness, so this works out much better for him.  He will eventually be about 11 inches tall and about 12 lbs.

Well, I caused quite a flurry in the drive through line with my Pet Cruiser Auto yesterday! These Auto Cruiser car seats are great. I even brought the car seat with my dog sleeping inside into the salon where I was getting my hair cut. She is small enough to  eat and drink in there. This way  I did not have to worry about her getting too hot in her puppy purse (which is where she would be typically)  or accidentally kicked while in her purse on the floor there.  It was a really hot day and this way she  enjoyed some space and a breeze and protection.  We even  took it out of the car and used it during an impromptu and lengthy visit to the beach. I keep giving  your web site address to people...!

Dear Brad, my cat enjoys his cat containment system.  He feels emboldened in the Tunnels to watch and "charge" critters, he feels safe and comfortable in the shaded areas, and generally okay with having this as his outdoor retreat.  I still must place him in the upper part of the Condo, but then he enjoys lying down and watching the birds fly by.

I worked with Brad this past Fall Sep - Dec as a part of a Product Design & Development course I was taking at Babson College. Brad's company Midnight Pass sponsored our group of five Babson students and two RISD students to design a pet gate. He led the team very well by sharing his product development experience both from his time with Sharper Image and more recently Midnight Pass. In the initial stages when we were just developing the concept Brad did a very good job of connecting the group with people in the field that could tell us what customers were looking for, where there were product gaps (opportunities), and what customers did not want. Once our concept was developed it was refined numerous times. During the refinement period we made approximately 5-7 prototypes. I am a mechanical engineer and knew we could make a successful prototype, but had no idea if we could manufacture it successfully and still make a profit…

…In addition to introducing me to his oversees representative (and his logistics person) to determine the number pet gates we could ship in a shipping container so we could use this number to calculate the minimum quantity of items needed to be manufactured to economically fill the container…Brad was not finished helping us yet. He then broke down the business into two segments wholesale and retail and helped the team better understand the problems, challenges and advantages of selling in each channel. Brad also explained to the team about the specific import taxes on particular materials, and more importantly the lack of taxes on other imported materials. Overall, the time I spent with Brad on this project was one of the best learning experiences I had a Babson.

Babson informs students of approaches how to start a company and bring products to market, but Brad actually showed us how to successfully bring a product to market in less than six months and warned us of the many pitfalls.

I have stayed in contact with Brad since the course finished and I am excited for him about the positive feedback on the pet gate we designed. I am looking forward to his success with it. At the end of the course I discussed another product (kayak roof rack) that I have thought about pursuing developing and he immediately had a manufacturer in mind. If I find/make the time to pursue this product I will most definitely be giving Brad a call to get the product to manufacturing….
